While filming for the PBS special, "Brains on Trial with Alan Alda," Alan visited Dr. Thalia Wheatley, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College. Dr. Wheatley's research investigates how people understand and react to other human beings and how the brain evolved to handle the computations underlying this social intelligence.
